It is disputed that Hungarian Imre derived from Emmerich

Other than the thesis that it derives from Emmerich, there is another strong suggestion that it derives from Turkic İmre or Emre, credited by many Hungarian and Turkic sources. Karak1lc1k (talk) 05:24, 17 March 2023 (UTC)
