Talk:Latter-day Saint

I am wondering if we can't change this page to "Latter-day Saint," which is the more common usage (at least, as Latter-day Saints themselves are concerned).  The best way to check this out for proof is to look at the Church's own Web site at (a great example would be this New Era article), but you can also see the results of a Google News search I did, if you want.  —  V-ball 16:54, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Similarly there is also a usage of Latter Day Saint for those that are not Latter-day Saints (i.e. members of the LDS Church) but are adherents to one of the group of denominations tracing their heritage to the teachings of Joseph Smith, Jr. There are no known denominations that use the capital D with the hyphen; it's either hyphen & lower case d or no hyphen & upper case D. Usage of the hyphen & upper case D combination is completely incorrect. -- 01:00, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
