I deleted Monique as an alternate spelling, but I could be wrong.  Here's my reasoning: As a general rule, alternate spellings sound the same (in this page's case, Monica and Monika; in another case, color and colour).  Monique and Monica are quite different in English (maybe valid alternate spellings in some other language?). — V-ball 22:39, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
