Regalian seems like an important word in the Western tradition, as it describes, rights and duties of the pre-Enlightenment the "social contract". Yet the word is not widely used and and even less referenced in the main lexicographical sources: Oxford, Collins, Webster ... The word is most descriptive when used with "function(s)" as the French do to speak of "Regalian functions". Why do we not use this more often? Prichardsong (talk) 17:11, 21 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
