Talk:Snell's law

The Dutch scientist after which the refraction law was named was Willebrord Snel van Royen'. It is therefore Snel's law, and not Snell's law. The double ll comes from the latinized Snellius, but should not be kept when writing it in English (or Dutch for that matter). (unsigned comment above from User:82.210.120.62)

No. All the physics and chemistry textbooks use the double-L spelling. --EncycloPetey 00:06, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
