Etymology

Probably related to Ziffere = German Ziffern. I'm not sure whether it's exactly the same word or a derivation thereof. Can't say I've ever heard Ziffere pronounced with an initial /t͡ʃ/ though. — Fytcha〈 T | L | C 〉 19:53, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
