The quote for sense 2 doesn't really seem to have that sense. The only thing that comes close is "cruel person", but it seems to have been in used in the literal sense of "one who sows poverty", i.e. who causes people to become paupers. (Of course, I haven't read the whole story. Maybe there's more to it, but at first sight it seems thus.) 2.203.201.61 10:15, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
