Differentiating the object(s) of the verb edit

User:Kiwima, you said that the quote from The Brothers Karamazov fits into the beg/implore definition. I agree that the definition fits both, but grammatically speaking, it seems like there are two different constructions. In the one case, you are beseeching a person. In the other case, you are beseeching an item. The object of the verb is different. Does this justify having separate definitions? Germyb (talk) 04:14, 18 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
