It's not only alternative spelling, it's pronounced differently as well. 68.224.134.174 08:46, 11 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Origins of the term

edit

The first time I heard the term biatch, if I recall correctly, it was on Make Me Laugh on Comedy Central.  As far as I am aware, this might be the earliest use of the term.  If I recall correctly, the comedian wanted to use a term that rhymed with another word he'd used previously, and since the word bitch did not rhyme, he instead said biatch (which did rhyme).  It appeared to me that he created the word on the spot.

Can anyone confirm whether this was, indeed, the origins of the term?  If it was not, can anyone determine what was the term's origins?

Cheers,
