"breakly dimly"?

I checked Google Books and The Mysterious City of Oo really does say "daylight was breakly dimly," but that seems very weird to me. I strongly suspect it is a typo for "daylight was breaking dimly," but if it is not, it is a bizarre and as far as I can tell unique usage. All other sources I see indicate that "breakly" is a rare word and one that only ever means "physically fragile, brittle." Is this an appropriate inclusion for the page?
