Does this word need definition beyond merely link to noun?

I only visited its page because it is not clear to me whether "... donkey caucusing with bull moose" implies anything aside from giving an example of unnecessarily metaphorical language used to describe United States politics. 80.230.62.44 14:18, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
