ISBNs in quotations

edit

@Inqilābī: the {{quote-book}} and other quotation templates only provide for one ISBN to be indicated. In general, specify the ISBN of the version of the work that you have consulted. If it’s not possible to tell, I usually specify the ISBN of the hardcover version of the work, or if this isn’t known, the first ISBN listed in the work or at Worldcat. — SGconlaw (talk) 21:52, 9 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Sgconlaw: Oh, got it, thanks! I chose the one closer to the 2 ISBNs of the hardcover version— both are near-identical but one is described as ‘(cloth)’ and the other as ‘(pbk)’. ·~ dictátor·mundꟾ 22:03, 9 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Inqilābī: yes, “cloth” means “bound in cloth”, which is a type of hardcover. “Pbk.” is obviously “paperback”. — SGconlaw (talk) 04:17, 10 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
