county courts and squires edit
Historically in Tennessee (and, I presume, other parts of the American South), the "county court" was the name for legislative body for the county. The court's members were called "squires." - The best place for such information would be in a new entry called "county court". Would you be willing to create such an entry? Give it a try, even if you don't know the right format for it. If you type "county court" in the search box and click "Go", a page will appear allowing you to create a new entry with a basic tutorial template.
