olig(o) is few, not many. pluri is another prefix meaning many, as in the botanical term pluriovulate, meaning having many ovules (in a locule). [I was looking for the equivalent of demin/hemi/semi for thirds, quarters, sixths and eights (and possibly twelths as well).] 80.176.90.190 23:28, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
