Talk:dropped egg

In A Little Book of Language by David Crystal he is talking about recognizing where someone is from by their vocabulary and says somone who says 'dropped eggs' instead of 'poached eggs' is from New England...but I'm from New England and I've never heard the term used here (I'm from CT so it may be used further north.) I hadn't heard this either, but then again I'm not a culinary expert. This book has quotations from MA, NH, VT, and ME: [1]. 98.170.164.88 01:30, 8 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
