Etymology

The antonym of dys- is eu-. Evidently, utopia was treated as if it was spelt **eutopia, which would be pronounced the same and would have a meaning compatible with that of utopia ("good place"), and dystopia was formed as the antonym of this **eutopia. --Florian Blaschke (talk) 18:44, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
