Talk:for the win
I noticed that 'for the win' is classified as an adverb, whereas 'for the loss' is classified as an adjective. I have little talent for resolving parts of speech, but this is very counterintuitive to me. Can anyone explain why these two phrases, which are used so similarly, are classified differently?

- of course "for the loss" is also an adverb. Or to be more exact, both are adverbial constructions. 93.219.186.150 18:23, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
