Missing the (original) Greek sense

This word description seems to be missing the early sense of the word from ancient Greek. That of the "geos", that which is down here where we walk and live and see the seas, land, lakes and clouds; which the ancients contrasted with the `cosmos`, that which is up above, and beyond the planet surface and the near atmosphere/clouds, that which is in many cases more fixed (stars etc.) or with much slower/constrained movements ("wandering stars" (planets, comets, ...) and the Moon. This surprises me, especially since that Greak term `geos` would seem to play a rather key role in the etymology of so many "geo-" related words. Cheers. N2e (talk) 22:28, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
