I agree that this seems overly specific. In practice the entry had a more general definition. It was when I was looking for citations to back up the existence of the word at all, that I only found evidence that it was used to refer to oxen in Jewish law. If you can find a more general citation to back up the general definition though, then that would be great. :-) -Stelio (talk) 09:51, 26 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

We have a definition of "An animal that gores other creatures." But is there any evidence of this word being used to refer to any other animal other than an ox in the context of Jewish law? -Stelio (talk) 15:16, 26 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

I added two cites to the entry: one for an Irish cow, and one for a unicorn (!). (I found many more cow quotes, but they seemed rather redundant) I also added three cites to the citations page for gorers that are people or things. I think we need to broaden the definition to simply be someone or something that gores. Kiwima (talk) 19:41, 26 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
Super; thanks for that! That's awesome. :-D I'm happy that this is completely verified. And I've updated the definition accordingly. -Stelio (talk) 15:41, 27 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
