This makes no sense at all. Firstly, the only listed sense of hocus is a verb. Secondly, what does "there is no evidence" mean? That somebody has searched the entire planet and established no evidence exists that the verb "hocus" has ever been used?

And "reportedly" is clearly a weasel word - reported by whom? — Smjg (talk) 01:24, 5 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
