same form different word

this page seems to be a list of 'hooray' in different languages, however the cimbrian 'hurra' with the meaning of prostitute seems to not belong in this list. 92.221.117.18 15:34, 20 February 2023 (UTC)

I totally agree. This etymology is utter nonsense, apparently based on a similarity in form. It does quote a source which I haven't read, but if this information comes from the book referred to, it suggests the source is not very reliable. Anna Lowenstein (talk) 16:20, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
