Context

Wikipedia defines the term in the context of data modeling. However, it seems from the articles referred to by Wikipedia, like [1], that the term is used in a much wider way, and that the term does not specify whether the information corresponding to an information model is stored in a database, in tables of a document, or in the vocabulary of a document.
