The British author Peter F. Hamilton in his writings uses the word inimical rather than inimicable.
- I'd bet money that "inimicable" is a relatively recent (late 20th c) US neologism, probably based on an accidental misuse of "inimical". (Only giving it the validation of consideration as a neologism because it's in Wiktionary. The only readily available online definitions for this are from US sources (e.g. Merriam-Webster [3]) while other English language sources (e.g. Oxford online, see above) do not include it. So I'm adding a (US) tag.--Philologia Sæculārēs (talk) 11:10, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
