Talk:interval
intervallologist, intervallologue, intervallologer (et: intervallum):
- one who focuses on the intervals and not on scales while composing
- (intervallological composition) using interval harmonics and not scales as the first criterion of composition
- (here you immediately care about the intervals, because most other methods do the same indirectly, or directly but not consciously because of the usage of ready made standards; but even intervallology has mathematical standards)
- one who studies musical intervals (not necessarily the European systems [equal, well, true temperaments])
