editWhat's the "traditional" pronunciation of this word? It seems to get increasingly used in non-engineering contexts, where I heard it pronounced with /uː/. I'm not sure about this, but did the older pronunciation always have /ʌ/, and /uː/ is relatively new? Or have they always coexisted? – Jberkel 11:41, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
