Perhaps we can still look forward for another opportunity.

editThe definition suggests that anticipate or expect can be substituted for look forward. Three examples are shown:
- I look forward to meeting him.
- We are looking forward to Christmas.
- He looked forward to having fun on Hallowe'en.
In all of these, to substitute anticipate or expect for look forward results in an erroneous sentence. Therefore, either the examples are incorrect, or the real phrase is not look forward but look forward to. In the latter case, this page should be replaced by a redirection to look forward to.--Anareth (talk) 16:43, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
