Note that "morani" is not the plural; it is a diminutive form. So if you talk about the Maasai morani gathering together, you are referring to the young warriors. One would still be a morani: both moran and morani are invariant for number. I've never seen "morani" used generally in English, but always in a context where it would be properly italicized as an FL term. We could usefully add the Maasai, Samburu, and Swahili entries; I'll have someone look at it. Robert Ullmann 13:03, 4 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
