Is definition 1 (referring to the whole brain and spinal cord) correct?

Not that I've heard of before. It's always possible that it's an archaic or obsolete sense though. Try to check whith a huge dictionary before getting rid of it. — Hippietrail 06:15, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)

This definition is exactly the same as one in dictionary.com under neura, given as the plural of neuron. I am going to move this definition out into a new article for neura. Jonathan Webley 12:04, 17 August 2005 (UTC)
