Both German and Yiddish use 'naschen' or 'noshen' to describe something like enjoying little snacks, just tasting and nibbling on food, for pleasure rather than for hunger. So, 'naschen' is different from eating - it's not actual meals like meat and veggies, but it's 'Naschereien' or 'Leckerbissen', such as pastries, fruit, chocolate and maybe cheese and smoked ham and bacon and the like. Mostly sweets, but not only. 'Nascherei' or 'Noshery' would be the activity of 'naschen', or it could refer to these snacks that you like to 'naschen' so much.
