Trying to measure ointment edit

Most ointments need no careful measurement. Some (Nitro, Nicotine, etc.) are applied by pre-measured patch or tape. Some come with special instructions indicating the number of inches of tip extrusion. However, a few (antibiotics, etc.) would benefit from a 'handy' measurement like FTU to help the user gauge or calculate each dose and calculate the doses available from the usually given but not directly usable measurements like net weight & concentration.

Why are you telling us this? I reverted your edit to the entry for two reasons: 1) Check your formatting. 2) It's not a reference for the definition of the term ointment. It's more tangential information that belongs to Wikipedia. JamesjiaoTC 23:00, 9 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
