Overman and übermensch

edit

I have read elsewhere that overman is also a translation for Nietzsche's übermensch. I do not see the meaning "übermensch" listed in the article. The meaning close to it is "person with great powers; a superman", which however refers to "person" which I read as "human person". Could someone knowledgable please clarify this? Thank you. --Daniel Polansky 16:16, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
