a nl: os is castrated. It is not necessarily an animal to carry loads or do things. Castration is to gain weight quickly and be of easy disposition. GerardM 20:00, 26 May 2004 (UTC)

Oxes is the standard plural of 'clumsy person' ("be careful you great ox!") just we don't have this sense yet which is why oxes is listed as nonstandard. Renard Migrant (talk) 17:34, 19 July 2015 (UTC)
