Talk:porte-cochère

My OED and Oxford American (electronic) both show "porte cochère" with no hyphen and always with the diacritical.

I'm uncomfortable showing the non-hyphenated version in this context as an alternate spelling when the OED suggests it should be the primary spelling. How can we handle it?
