Does the word “religiosity” have pejorative connotations?
editIn my personal experience, the word “religiosity” is used used with, at least, deprecatory overtones.
e.g.:
“Alabama is first in religiosity” is a polite or ironic way of deprecating Alabama, whereas
“Alabama is the most religious state” is a neutral, just-the-facts statement.
Should this entry note a deprecatory or pejorative flavour? I suspect so. Nat (talk) 21:11, 29 May 2017 (UTC)
