Is the text that reads:
"2. Specifically, any man-made apparatus designed to relay telecommunication signals to and from Earth. Many telecommunication satellites orbit at 36000km above the equator.", correct?
Does "specifically" refer back to the previous statement that it's "An object orbiting a celestial object"?
AFAIK a man made satellite has to orbit a celestial body, could this be more clearly specified?

"Satellite", in French, is defined here as "satellite." That's just not very helpful...
- That isn’t a definition, it’s a translation. we define English words on English Wiktionary, but foreign words get translations instead. If you need the definition of the French word, you have to go to fr:satellite. —Stephen 20:50, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
