It seems so. We have two separate entries for shemozzle (“chaos, quarrel”) and schlimazel (“unlucky person”), which have the same etymology but seem to have different meanings. The definitions currently given for schmozzle fit the former. 98.170.164.88 16:01, 7 November 2022 (UTC)
