Judging by smicker at Google Ngram Viewer and the dates of the quotations that we have, it should probably be labelled as dated or archaic. — excarnateSojourner (talk · contrib) 19:10, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

I would reckon it to be "archaic" and "dialectal (Scottish)". "Smicker" does evoke an air of antiquity, for those who even know its meaning, that's how uncommon it is today. "Dated" would imply that it evokes a certain timeframe or recent era, like the 50's or the 90's and still in use today, mainly by older folks from those eras. I would go with "Scottish" & "archaic" Leasnam (talk) 20:36, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
