- This is probably a necro, but: I'm guessing that the editor meant playground swinging, like on a swingset. I have no idea if underdog would be used to describe such a swing, though.Anaphysik 17:23, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
Etymology edit
I thought Underdog came from the lower operator of a large saw, known as a dog. Although, I can't remember the source for this so it may have been intended as humorous 86.179.250.207 10:30, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
