edit"White millet" is a term that seems to be used secondarily for at least 3 species of millets, and also to be used for selected varieties of one of them (proso), so suggesting either to both
- trim the three definitions down to the main synonym, and
- expand where appropriate (probably only the definition mentioning proso) to mention that it is some varieties that get this moniker (due to the paleness of their appearance...).
Or:
- To restructure the whole definition field to something like this: "A millet or variety of millet whose grains/seeds are typically pale in appearance, particularly certain varieties of proso millet, and sometimes also barnyard millets." --A12n (talk) 21:46, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
