This template is used in place of {{desc}} in Proto-Bantu entries. It uses Module:Guthrie codes to display the unique identifier associated with the language in the Maho (2009) updated Guthrie classification of Bantu languages. This template supports |bor=1 for borrowings, but none of the other specialized descendant types supported by {{desc}}.
