Parameters edit

The template supports the following parameters:

  • |1= — required — the lemma form (third-person masculine singular past tense/suffix conjugation)
  • |2= — required — the tense/mood:
    • past: past tense
    • pres: present tense
    • fut, futr: future tense
    • imp, impr, impv: imperative
    • juss: jussive
    • coho: cohortative
    • vavp: vav-consecutive perfect
    • vavi: vav-consecutive imperfect
  • |wv= — optional — the lemma form with vowels; use |dwv= instead if the lemma form with vowels is spelled defectively but, without vowels, excessively
  • |tr= — the transliteration of the lemma form (see Wiktionary:About Hebrew) — required unless the lemma form and the current form are spelled the same
  • |p=1, |p=2, or |p=3 — required except in the present and imperative, where it is disallowed — person (first/second/third)
  • |g=m or |g=f — required unless |p=1, or unless |p=3 and |n=p in the past or vav-consecutive perfect (in those cases it is disallowed) — gender (masculine/feminine)
  • |n=s or |n=p — required — number (singular/plural)
  • |op=, |og=, |on= — optional — the person (1 for first person, 2 for second, 3 for third), gender (m and f), and number (s for singular, p for plural) of a direct-object suffix. If any is specified, the others must be, except that if |op=1 then |og= should not be specified.
  • |defective=1 — indicate that this is a defective spelling
  • |excessive=1 — indicate that this is an excessive spelling
  • |nocap=1 — don't capitalize first letter
  • |t= — gloss for lemma form

Errors occur if required parameters are missing.
