This template is used for displaying Pali proper noun headword with its gender. Additionally, it also puts the word into "Category:Pali proper nouns in ... script".

Parameters

|1= (required)

Specify gender of the proper noun.

|g2= (optional)

Additional gender(s).

|tr= (optional)

Transliteration. It is only needed for non-Roman script forms for which it is not implicitly given by {{pi-sc}} on the definition line. If the parameter is not supplied, transliteration will be omitted on the head line. To display the default transliteration, use |tr=+.
