Some thoughts:

  1. The template currently doesn't explain how one would choose between the inflected form and an inflected one, and doesn't explain what a second-person masculine singular inflected preposition might be. If I didn't know Hebrew, I'd misinterpret this, taking it to be a matter of agreement: I'd conclude that Hebrew prepositions can optionally inflect to agree with their objects. As we know, this isn't the case at all; rather, Hebrew personal pronouns don't have their own objective/oblique forms, and instead, Hebrew prepositions have personal-pronoun-including forms, such that the person/gender/number classification actually describes the included personal pronoun, not the preposition itself. Can we explain this somehow in the template, or create an explanatory Appendix:Hebrew prepositions and link to it, or something?
  2. The template gives the second- and third-person feminine plural forms without comment; should it perhaps be noted that in colloquial speech, their masculine counterparts are often used instead?

Grammar is kind of a tricky subject. As a general rule, Wiktionary doesn't include a lot of grammar, leaving that to Wikipedia. However, I agree that it would be nice to have some here. But I'm rather lost as to how to incorporate such material. You may want to start a BP discussion on this one. Atelaes 05:25, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, I took a shot; what do you think? —RuakhTALK 06:33, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
That does make it quite clearer (and the colour's a lot better as well). Atelaes 06:59, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
