Template talk:lb-decl-adj

This could be improved a bit:

1.) It's not correct to say "with article" and "without article" because the en-form in the dative m./n. is used as soon as there is any word with -em preceding in the noun phrase, even e.g. another adjective. Maybe they could be called "default" (= without article) and "following -em" (= with article).

2.) More importantly, the two lines for the nominative are entirely redundant as the distinction exists only for the em-form. So the cases should be in the first column and the above-mentioned distinction should be in the second column, so the additional column for nominative can be deleted.

There are some other things, but these two changes should be very simple to include. I just don't know how to edit templates. Thank you. 92.73.31.113 16:20, 11 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

I fixed this a few months back. Forgot that I'd put this message here. There are still things that I'm not capable of. The template can't be used with a lot of adjectives (e.g. those where -t, turns into -d-). All this has been dealt with in the template "lb-adj", but I don't know how to integrate it into this template. 2.201.0.85 16:54, 8 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Template for adjectives ending in -e

edit

A template would be needed for adjectives ending in -e, such as orange, turquoise, etc., which do not take an extra -e in the inflected forms: e.g. orangen, orangem, oranger, oranges, but the neuter form oranget receives the same -t ending as other regular adjectives.
