Should this add a category? --Connel MacKenzie 19:27, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

It does now. --Bequw τ 23:03, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Position edit

The current vertical position of this template is about level with the L1 page title, above all the language (L2) entries (no matter where it is included). This implies that the whole page was featured when it fact it was just the English entry. This has two problems. (1) About 500 pages where this template is used have entries below the English section for which this implication is false, and (2) eventually we might want to feature an English entry where there is a preceding Translingual entry, which would break the even looser implication that the template applies to the following entry. I therefore propose that this template float on the right-hand side (I think this is the only RHS one that doesn't). We can then move the template uses into the English entries, at least where there's possibility for confusion. --Bequw τ 15:02, 28 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

request to exchange hyphen for en dash edit

Please, someone allowed to do so, replace the hyphen with an en dash (thereby getting the resultant expression to display like this: "WOTD – [insert date]"), as the former is typographically incorrect in this context. Thanks – ὁ οἶστρος (talk) 16:26, 10 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Done, in this edit! (discussion)

Extra Space edit

It looks like this template is creating an extra space.Curb Chain (talk) 22:21, 11 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Good point – I just noticed this as well.
It specifically happens when this comes before {{wikipedia}}, but not after – and if you stack either of these templates, it’s still fine. I’ve made a few fixes, but they don’t help…
