This work's purpose is to test the advantage of determinative use in modern languages. The determinatives are emojis "😀", unicode illustrations. Inspiration comes from hieroglyphic determinative use in word illustration.
The work referenced is "A second German Book" 1912 by Fredrick Betz & Charles H Holzwarth. The book is written in an archaic German script, of which I at the time of inception am not so accustomed. All words not immediately discernable to myself will have a question mark "?" by the word. My German experience at the inception of this article is 1 year of U.S. highschool German, understanding only the absolute basics. My native languages are English and French.
The syntax of German will attempt to fit English; in the event that German cannot match English syntactically, changes will be made in sentence structure.
Verb tense is indicated by a clock and arrows. ⏪ means continuous past "was living", ⏮ means past with a specific ending "lived", present has no symbol "lives", a specified future is ⏭ "will live", continuous future ⏩ "will be living". Subjunctive will show the question mark ❓.
