- ante-pre-stressed е -> pre-stressed я (this is mostly predictable; should occur in type c verbs; can't think of examples)
- stressed е -> pre-stressed е (in loanwords; does this occur?)
- pre-stressed я -> stressed е (not predictable; вярну́ць (vjarnúcʹ) -> pres 3sg ве́рне, ppp ве́рнуты)
- pre-stressed я -> ante-pre-stressed е (not predictable; пячы́ (pjačý) -> pres 2pl печаце́)
- stressed э -> pre-stressed а (this is mostly predictable)
- stressed э -> pre-stressed э (in loanwords; does this occur?)
- pre-stressed а -> stressed э (not predictable; only after always-hard consonants; рашы́ць (rašýcʹ) -> pres 3sg рэ́шыць)
- stressed о -> pre-stressed а (I think this is always predictable)
- pre-stressed а -> stressed о (not predictable; радзі́ць (radzícʹ) -> pres 3sg ро́дзіць; гавары́ць (havarýcʹ) -> pres 3sg гаво́рыць)
