Sette Comuni edit
This dialect was spoken in the Sette Comuni ("seven communities") in Veneto, northern Italy. Today, it is only spoken by a few people Roana.
Orthography edit
Cimbrian orthography is mostly based on Italian, with German influence. Unlike many German varieties, nouns are not capitalized. Cimbrian also uses some diacritics, explained below.
