User:Rmagill/New page entry instructions for Latin students

Salvete, discipuli carissimi!

Here are some simplified instructions for how to create a new entry page for both a particular word form of a Latin word from our readings as well as the 1st principal part (aka "lemma") for that verb.

Word form edit

  1. When you search Wiktionary ("WT") for a particular form and it's not there, go ahead and click Create this entry on that page.
  2. Depending on what type of word it is, go to one of the following pages:
  • Noun
  • 1st, 2nd masc/neut, or 3rd declension
  • Pronoun
  • Adjective
  • 1st & 2nd declension, 3rd declension
  • Comparative or superlative forms
  • Verb
  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd -io, or 4th conjugation
  • Participles
  • Pres Act, Perf Pass, Fut Act, and Fut Pass (aka gerundive)
  • Gerunds (not gerundives)
  • Preposition, conjunction, adverb, or interjection
