aeolidacean (plural aeolidaceans)

  1. A sea slug of the suborder Aeolidacea.

      Aposematic nudibranchs had to have their «sting», like wasps, but, in the early 1970s, knowledge of these was limited to the cnidocysts of aeolidaceans, acid or repellent secretions from some testacean groups and the ink from aplysiaceans.
